“Demystifying Sonoma's AVAs”

Tour dates: February 9th & 10th, 2019

Tour Capacity: 20-25 Participants

Regular Rates:     

Double Occupancy $1,300/person  -  Single Occupancy $1,500/person

 

Rates without Hotel Stay:

Double Occupancy $1,099/person  -  Single Occupancy $1,299/person

 

What’s Included:

- Expertise of tour leaders

- Hotel accommodations for 1 night (If selected)

- Meals as noted in the itinerary (B-Light breakfast; L-Lunch; D-Dinner)

- Daily wine tastings

- All activities as noted in the itinerary

- Transportation between hotels and wineries

- All gratuities

- Pre-tour and daily in-tour information

 

What’s Not Included:

- Transportation to and from Sonoma

- Personal items such as souvenirs or wines purchased for personal use

- Other items noted as optional or not specifically mentioned as included

 

Climatic and Topographic Considerations:

The tour involves being outdoors for extended periods of time, walking daily over uneven and rocky ground, paved and unpaved roads, hills and stairs. Please wear comfortable (preferably waterproof) hiking shoes. The weather in the region will likely be cool at this time of year; we may get some rain. Please pack accordingly; we recommend waterproof/windproof outerwear.

 

Reservations:

Reservations can be made at www.WineAndGeologyTours.com. A booking will be final when:

  1. Your registration has been paid; and

  2. we have received your signed “Wine and Geology Tours LLC Waiver of Liability”; and

  3. we send a final confirmation to you.

 

Payments:

Payments may be made by credit card online or check. If you pay by check, your reservation will be confirmed once your payment has cleared the bank. Checks returned by the bank will incur a $100 returned check fee.

 

Wait List:

If the tour is fully booked, you may choose to be placed on a wait list. Individuals on the wait list will be contacted if and when space becomes available. You may withdraw from the wait list by contacting us.

 

Cancellations by You and Refunds:

To cancel your reservation, please submit your request to us in writing by email. Cancellation refunds will be applied according to the following schedule, based on the date we receive your written notification:

  

Tour fees:

Cancellation between 60 days prior to start date: 50% refund.

Cancellation within 30 days prior to start date: No refund

 

No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a tour once the tour begins, including if you leave a tour or are removed from a tour for any reason. There are no exceptions to this cancellation and refund policy, including for reasons related to weather, terrorism, civil strife, personal, family or medical emergencies or any other circumstances beyond our control.

 

Cancellations by Us:

Cancellation by Wine and Geology Tours: Full Refund*;

or Credit towards future tour.

* less $100 non-refundable deposits made on your behalf for hotels or local suppliers.

This refund will constitute full settlement of claims you may have arising out of our cancellation.

No refunds will be provided due to cancellations or changes due to Force Majeure.

 

Flexibility:

Please recognize that amenities, accommodations, transportation, route, schedule, and itinerary may change without prior notice due to local circumstances or geopolitical events, which may include mechanical breakdown, flight cancellations, illness, strikes, political disputes, weather, and other unforeseeable factors. In such cases, we will, as soon as reasonably possible, notify you of known changes and available alternatives. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued.

 

Promotional Photography:

Wine and Geology Tours LLC reserves the right to take photographs and/or videos during the tour and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a reservation with Wine and Geology Tours LLC you agree to allow your images to be used in such photographs and/or videos. Those who prefer that their images not be used are asked to identify themselves to the tour leaders at the beginning of the tour.
